The Mayan area has a very large diversity of dry and rain forests with more than 700 tree species. Many of these species are among the most sought-after for the beauty of their wood.
But this territory is not only rich in colours by the variety of its wood species. There are more than 6000 plant species and the whole nature vibrates with bright colours, as our photos of the local flora show. We invite you to discover them… Many thanks for their contribution to: Alan & Ondina Colton, Shirley Pearsall, Roger & Gale Lundberg, Philip & Jane Freytag, Frank & Maffie Curtis, John & Joyce McMasters, Vance & Karen Titus, Bob & Beverly Griffiths, Larry Greif, Frank & Teresa Brechin, Harold & Priscilla Chapman, Ray & Rosa Wagner. |
